I could have made a reference, fully-rendered, but nooooo... Nope, too lazy today. Especially since those arm sockets are looking at me funny with their asymmetry and all.

I liked drawing Sam and all, but I've always wanted to render him in 3D but don't have the skill/tools necessary at the moment. So, I did the best my 2D rendering skills would allow for now.
It was kind of fun to add some of the extra details, like the cracks, scratched paint/rust, and to "cut" his eyebrows in half to allow him to emote more, should I draw him like this again...
My favorite bit, though, was the shape I gave him on his jaw piece and the bottom of his head piece. The head piece is curved downward and the mouth piece is curved upward so that he has a smile/smirk without a thousand itty bitty mechanical pieces. Makes him look cute, especially with the eyelids.

On another note, I finished high school today. Onto college, yippee. So, I guess you could call this a semi-celebratory deal.
