That was amazing, awesome, a great plot, great animation, great characters, great everything! I'm sure this question has been asked before, but what happened to Lucian, Sand, and Gravel? Were they crushed by the lab or ddid they manage to escape and are living somewhere in the middle of nowhere?
I really loved this animation. It was very deep and insightful. It had a VERY clear message and theme (unlike most hackneyed pieces of literature and animation out there). I felt like I knew Lucian's fate. It was as if, through his twisted methods, that if he were to every actually see light and attain his goal he would have to die. He tortured Sand and Gravel, becoming just like them: the very monster that he himself had been tortured by his whole life. It's as if a goal attained through twisted, horrid means is, no matter how altruistic that goal may be, wrong and twisted into something different itself. At least that's how I found it.
Lovely job on the animation and the colors. I hope people are able to see a theme and lesson that they can take to heart just like I did.
I guess I overthink things xD That's why I love creative and artistic things like animations and books. Rarely do authors come out and directly say exactly what they are trying to communicate through their books and creations. Yet, they all have something to say. Creative writing and storytelling are ways of communicating ideals and beliefs with the world. The unique and beautiful thing is that everyone can interpret them differently. I think it's the best way to communicate ideals and beliefs, personally.
