Basically it's a tutorial about how to paint metallic dragon scales and other techniques for digital painting. :3 This dragon isn't metal but it's really shiny. xD
The-SixthLeafClover is one of my favorite artists on dA and you should really check her work out.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis an outstanding piece of art.
The eyes are perfectly lined up to the direction in which the dragon appears to be looking at. Eyes can be something that most artists have troubles with, and in this piece they were mastered. The flame colors really show the effect of a true fire as they get deeper into the image. The dragon's scales are perfectly drawn, with no signs of poor shading anywhere. The dragons teeth are perfect in oral anatomy, and have nothing like a typical dragon picture with the tongue out. This picture is unique, eye appealing, original and amazing in every way.
